This picture is taken from inside of an old building in New Hampshire near Contoocook. This building is now a theatre. I wonder what it used to be? The walls are so thick! For more interesting shots Shadow Sunday.

The thick walls and iron window bars (although decorative), suggest a jail or something. The current use is much better than my idea was :)
The thick walls probably kept the cold NH winds out, and cooler in the NH summer. Built to last when so much was built to a higher standard than now it seems...
Great news on the garden. I'll need to look up these umbrellas - plant sooner and enjoy that summer salad so much sooner!
What an absolutely perfect shot! Being a quilter amongst my many other interests I definitely recognize the quilter in this photo...
Have a fabulous rest of the weekend,

Those bars are like a plant with thorns!
It is a very interesting looking building! I'd be curious to know what it was, too! Terrific shadow shot for the day regardless of what it was! Hope your weekend is going well!

Wonderful shot. I LOVE it!
I was even wondering if this may have been some kind of abbey going by the shape of the opening! Delightful!
Love this shot! Hmmm, I wonder too.
I am following your blog, and I would love to have you visit with me as well for an interchange of inspiration!
Ciao Bella!
