Visit with Swans

 Over the New Year weekend we spent a long weekend on Cape Cod.  Cape Cod is typically a summer destination, and I have never been there during the winter.  It was very nice, quiet and, of course, beautiful.  Cape Cod has a lot of lakes and we found a large number of swans in one of the lakes.  When we initially approached they were on the other side of the lake, but when they saw us walking around some of them swam over to our side.  I know swans can make very loud noises, but these make quiet and friendly sounds. What can I say? It was a nice visit!
