- Hello! I am a fiber artist and a photographer. Art quilts allow me to combine two of my life long passions - sewing and painting, which I have been doing since I was 5 years old. I have participated in exhibitions both as a painter as well as a traditional quilter. Recently, I celebrated the making of my 600'th art quilt. Love your shadow shot for the day! I hope you're spared more snow! The temps here really aren't that bad, but with really strong winds and lots of rain, it feels miserable anyway!! Hope you have a great weekend! Star warm!

No snow is always a fine option to the wheelchair user! But in New England, even the hint of a Nor’easter gets residents in panic mode. But not to worry, we can’t alter the weather.
However, snow and shadows are always dramatic and beautiful. Meyy Christmas!
Shadows on snow, a happy combination. It means the snow has stopped and the sun is out.
I like the subtle shadows. What a simple yet pleasing composition.
I hope that storm changes its direction and lets you have a calm weather for the holidays, at least.
Nothing to do but stoke up the fire, settle in with a good book and wait :)
