- Hello! I am a fiber artist and a photographer. Art quilts allow me to combine two of my life long passions - sewing and painting, which I have been doing since I was 5 years old. I have participated in exhibitions both as a painter as well as a traditional quilter. Recently, I celebrated the making of my 600'th art quilt. I have been serious about photography for over 20 years. I rarely go anywhere without my camera. I am so pleased to be able to share the world I see with the readers of my blog.

I'm so glad you're recovering from your surgery. And just in time to take this wonderful Christmas light photo in the snow! We don't have snow here in Western Oregon - just lots and lots of rain.
