Christmas Cookies

Today around 6 o'clock in the evening my door bell rings.  It takes me for ever to get down the stairs (my knees hurt in addition to the back making me a bit stiff descending).  When I finally opened the door I did not see anyone.  Then a voice in the distance said "Ah, here you are..."  A woman and a small girl who gave up waiting for me and were leaving came back.  It was a neighbor who I barely know (just enough to wave when we pass each other on the street) came by to give me Christmas cookies she and her daughter just baked.   Those were the most delicious Christmas cookies I ever had!  How very nice!

And now my skywatch photo.  These fluffy clouds are flying over Boston Harbor.  I am on a ferry crossing paths with a good looking sale boat.

That was a nice gesture and a beautiful gift for you.
One of the most beautiful aspects of Christmas is seeing the generosity it brings out in people.
I wish you a merry MERRY CHRISTMAS, much happiness and less pain, in the New year!

Beautiful sky shot btw.

I can vouch that good neighbors are a blessing. I have some that would do anything to help me. I appreciate them very much. That was nice one of yours to remember you during the holidays. I am finally giving my niece for Christmas the work you did for me on her dogs back in the Spring. Take care and have a very Merry holiday season.

How sweet to get a home baked treat delivered to your door. Lovely photo from Bosotn harbour, it is one of my favorite skylines.

Home baked cookies sound like a delicious treat. I love the sailboat crossing over that blue sky.

What a nice gift, I love homemade cookies. The sugar cookies and chocolate chip are my favorites. I love the shot of the ship in the Boston harbor. Happy Holidays to you and your family.
