View from inside of Pemaquid lighthouse by Quiltworks

Today's shadow shot for Shadow Sunday comes from inside of the Pemaquid lighthouse.I love lighthouses and my blog has a lot of images of lighthouses.  This image is a bit different because I am inside the lighthouse looking out.  It was a pretty neat experience, if you are ever in Pemaquid I recommend it!

The shadows fall nicely upon the window pane inside as well as out. The rugged beauty is impressive, although this is a beautiful day. We can get the feeling from this view of how far the light travelled, so much that the ship could attempt to change course in a hurry if needed. Wonderful view of the New England coast...

That is a wonderful shot of the sea from within the lighthouse .. I am a fan of lighthouses too .. I spent time as a child on the very tip of land on the Atlantic ocean .. you never forget how that feels .. salt in your veins !

Your photo looks very similar to mine!

SHADOW-CHASER

Chasing shadows here and there,
Chasing shadows everywhere;
Chasing shadows in the park;
Chasing shadows long past dark;
Chasing shadows through the light;
Chasing shadows day and night—
Shadow-chaser, don’t you see?
Shadows were just meant to be!

You have a good eye for seeing the shadows and catching them with your camera. I love your thread work on the George O'keefe inspired art work. You are very talented in so many area's. :)
