Red Sails in Boston Harbor by Quiltworks

This shadow shot comes from Boston harbor.  I liked how the sun makes the sails glow and create interesting shadows!

This is shadow is for Shadow Sunday and scenic shot for Scenic Sunday

It's not often one sees red sails. Lovely boat scene!

The boat looks from more than a century ago. Boston Harbor is much the same if we ignore the new buildings, and imagine the past, we see a waterfront full of sails and wood. Wonderful and imaginative!

I've started singing 'red sails in the sunset' ..... but I can't remember who sang it! Fabulous photo.

That's neat with the red sails! No Jolly Roger so guess it's not a pirate ship. :)

The contrast of the bright red sails with the "grey" tones of the landscape is wonderful! Great choice for Scenic Sundays and Shadow Shot Sunday!

That red is amazing.

The subtle tones of water and sky enhance the glowing red of those sails! Dramatic shot!

love the colors in this photo. The red just pops right out at ya with all that white and blue tones surrounding. Boston Harbor indeed...just what I would expect from someplace I have never been to except in my online travels.
