- Hello! I am a fiber artist and a photographer. Art quilts allow me to combine two of my life long passions - sewing and painting, which I have been doing since I was 5 years old. This has the true feel of coastal New England from the bare tree, clapboard sided house and of course, the lighthouse. The monochrome seems perfect as the nearby Winter will have a snowy Nor’easter that this reminds us of. Nicely captured!
It reminds me of a scene out of a movie... which one..?? I like it!
Beautiful picture. Love the silhouette of the tree with the lighthouse.
It has a bit of a spooky touch to it, reminds me of a book cover or the opening scene from a scary movie.

First thing that came to mind when seeing this was Edgar Allan Poe which is a good thing, he's one of my favorite poets. Fantastic shot, I love it.
