Boats in black and white by Quiltworks

I really liked the shadows and colors of the boats near the pier.  I thought they looked even better in black and white!

This is shadow is for Shadow Sunday and scenic shot for Scenic Sunday

Monochrome adds a different, interesting dimension.

B&W is a fine tone in this season of colder temperatures, in the harbors and ocean as wee al the air that surrounds us now. The lack of blue suggests our path toward winter, that the boats are parked than enduring the choppy waves, means that the blue water of summer has passed. Simple and beautiful!
