Vulture by quitlworks
I caught this vulture landing on a narly tree.  I liked that the tree was so bare making the vulture really stand out!  This is my contribution to Shadow ShotsScenic shots and Camera Critters!

Wow! What an amazing scene this is...vultures is something I don't see too often.

The tree seems a bit devoid of life. Therefore, a bird looking for things of such a nature is a natural addition to the lomb. Yet upon landing, he is a beauty with the wings still extended, slowing down th alight on the branch. Beautiful!

I like the gray color of the photo with the bleakness of the tree's. They go with the character of the vulture. Love that you were able to catch his wing span.
