Ironwork in Boston brick stone townhouses - photo by Quiltworks

art by quitlworks
Beautiful brick stone townhouses along the Boston Common have beautiful iron work.  They form such interesting shadows!  For more interesting shadows see Shadow Shots

The wrought iron railings leave such excellent shadows, swirls and arcs as far as we see. Beautiful brickwork on these townhouses, the classic look of Boston. Lovely!

Why don't they make beautiful wrought iron any more? Why does everything have to be so ugly today? Thank goodness we have these relics preserved so that we can stop and admire them. Have a lovely weekend.

I love the wrought iron and the shadows they make. I've always wanted a wrought iron fence.
