- Hello! I am a fiber artist and a photographer. Art quilts allow me to combine two of my life long passions - sewing and painting, which I have been doing since I was 5 years old. I have participated in exhibitions both as a painter as well as a traditional quilter. Recently, I celebrated the making of my 600'th art quilt. the monochrome seems to bring out the shadows more - nice shot - i really like Boston as a city
The old church keeps its classic style as the modern urban skyscape sprouts up around it. Steeples and shadows are a fine combination, keeping the Hub (where we are going for wedding in June) the classic microcosm of old and new!
Lovely - I haven't yet been to Boston ... but it has just moved up the list of places to visit!

Perfect for black and white. I can imagine all the photo ops in that city... How I would love to visit that city!
Funny how removing the color gives it depth and a sense of history...cool shot in B&W.
You're right - sometimes black and white is so much better than colour. The trees in your shot are beautiful, so delicate.

This is a great shot of shade in the shadows... the photo almost looks vintage too... Nice!
I find that happens too ! You change it to B&W and it can look amazing .. a totally different character to the picture : )
