This street scene is my contribution to Scenic
and because of its interesting shadows to Shadow Sunday.
Art work is a huge important part of my life. I find it intoxicating and relaxing. No matter how busy I try to find at least some time in my day for art. I hope someone will find my thoughts and art work interesting, and perhaps comments and question will generate new inspirations. I am always looking for a source of new ideas and inspiration. This front stoop harkens back to another era, the past where neighbors were gathering just outside their doors. Alas, in our suburban world, we seem actually more apart from our neighbors. So the steps and chairs look inviting and beckon us to join the conversation...
What a delightful shadow shot for the day! It looks so springlike, so welcoming and so colorful! Great composition! Wishing you a very Happy Easter weekend!

Now that's my kinda street scene...classic flowers in old classic junk...ahhh, spring!
I love this picture so much - I would hang it on the wall!!
I love to see flowers and pots stuck in unlikely places. This is just what would catch my eye! Love it!
That is a beautiful picture.
Happy Easter
So calm and spring-y feeling. So beautiful.
Happy Easter.
I could pull up a chair and sit down right next to the flowers and do nothing all day. Bliss.
Love your shot - we especially love that chair! We were just thinking of getting some sort of flower to stick out - perfect choice!
How fun to see this! My MIL does needlework and it is beautiful.
What a great shadowy find just waiting to be shot!!
I Love it!!!! I'm always picking up old pieces of furniture and odd containers for my flower garden...my husband calls it my "SandFord & Son Garden"
A beautiful image! The pansies are pretty too!
It is pretty indeed. Happy SS!
Whether or not it was a tweaked image, I love it! I love the softness and the invitation to enjoy the moment.
