Artsy Chair with flowers - by Quiltworks

Pansies are a sure sign of spring. I found this rustic pot with pansies  walking down the streets of Rockport, Mass.
This street scene is my contribution to Scenic
and because of its interesting shadows to Shadow Sunday.

This front stoop harkens back to another era, the past where neighbors were gathering just outside their doors. Alas, in our suburban world, we seem actually more apart from our neighbors. So the steps and chairs look inviting and beckon us to join the conversation...

I could pull up a chair and sit down right next to the flowers and do nothing all day. Bliss.

Love your shot - we especially love that chair! We were just thinking of getting some sort of flower to stick out - perfect choice!

I Love it!!!! I'm always picking up old pieces of furniture and odd containers for my flower garden...my husband calls it my "SandFord & Son Garden"

Whether or not it was a tweaked image, I love it! I love the softness and the invitation to enjoy the moment.
