Church Bells - by Quiltworks
The light through the window of an old church creates interesting shadows on the church bells! I took this shot on a tour of an old bell tower in Amstardam. It took a lot of climbing to get there :) This is my contribution to Scenic Photos and Shadow Shots.

Sunlight makes your shots dramatic and as I love churchbells, for me this is just absolutely gorgeous old bells.
Happy SS
I feel an air of mystery here, despite the bright sunshine.
Neat photo!
The sun leaves an orb of light seeming to float under the bells. I wonder if the energy of the glow might cause the ringing of the bells shortly...almost a divine glow!
How did you ever get that shot of the church bells? Wonderful to see church bells, especially close to Sunday. :-)
What ever you do don't walk into the light...could be a long drop down...cool shot!
What a terrific shot! Love the mystical feel it has with the glow! Wishing you a lovely weekend!
Sylvia
your church bells would go well with my photos of Kelso Abbey!!
The light really makes an interesting effect on the bells.

What a beautiful picture.
Happy SSS.
I am so glad you did the climb! It seems well worth it (to me at any rate). Can you imagine the history that those bells have witnessed? Great shot!
