In this photo you see that I've attached the lace curtains to the windows, and also placed the tree to the blue rug.  The curtains are three-dimensional.  The right panel moves freely adding depth and movement to the quilt. The left curtain is placed behind the tree. Layering of elements is very important to create depth.

These three-dimensional elements make the scene extra-nice; they give it a warm and comfortable look.
