This is Part 9 of a series which describes the making of a recently completed custom art quilt "Marley's Christmas". Part 1 - Description of the vision
Part 2 - Preparation of the background
Part 3 - Winter scene in the window
Part 4 - Three-dimensional blue rug
Part 5 - Curtains and fur tree
Part 6 - Blue arm chair
Part 7 - Darla makes an appearance
Part 8 - Marley makes an appearance
Part 10 - Making the rainbow
In this image I've decorated the Christmas tree with gold and red decorations as well as dog bones. For decorations I used beads. Bones are made out felt, so they are nice and fluffy. There are also a couple of dog bones under the tree.
In the next post you will see the work on the final element, the rainbow, begin.

Another great piece of work.
And you are a good tree trimmer too. :)
