Part 11: Anatomy of making art quilt "Marley's Christmas" by Quiltworks

After sending a photo of the artwork to the customer and getting approval, I completed the final stages of art quilt: quilting, finishing the backing, the binding, and loops for hanging.  The quilt is signed in thread on the back.

This is the image of the completed quilt.

She looks like she's coming right through that rainbow! Thanks for this series - a very nice tribute to Marley and Darla - I have enjoyed it - it's interesting to see how these pretty things come together over time, and all the creative work that goes into them. :)

The final result is amazingly beautiful.
Even the bones under the tree are so clearly visible.
