Manatees - photo by Quiltworks
This Watery and Outdoors shot comes from Florida and feature manatees. There are three of them in the shot in the clear warm water. It was amazing to watch their graceful movements!

Manatees are mistaken for mermaids for they swim gracefully, I think they're one of the most tamed creature, they look so harmless.
I love watching fish. They are graceful and seem so at peace.
How neat That water is so pretty!
I have yet to see a manatee in the wild. I must make a point of that the next time I am in Florida. Very nice capture of these 3 amazing creatures!
What a beautiful green color!
I have seen the manatees and they are so cute, great photo!
It's amazing how green the water is!
That is a nice picture of manatees. Manatees are a truly graceful and gentle creature. Unfortunately, this winter has been devasting on our manatees and we have lost over 300 from cold stress due to the colder than normal temperatures we have been having this year.

A beautiful shot of the manatees. Our family once swam with the manatees in Fl.
Hugs, Jeanne... Awesome!!!
Pretty...Happy watery Wednesday.
Lived in FL for ten years and loved to see these guys. Some actualy swam near the beach I went to but would not come close to me. :(
My daughter had adopted a manatee from a manatee rescue organization and she really enjoyed getting update on her manatee. They had such a hard time with the cold weather this winter and of course all the boat strikes...Michelle
The water and shadows look great in this photo!
Wonderful capture of these magnificent swimmers ... perfect for Outdoor Watery Wednesday ;-)
