Old Wood Window

wood window
This is a window in an old house in Sturbridge, Mass.  I really liked the shadows and siluettes in the window looking out onto the white New England church.

To see more shadow shots visit HeyHarriet.
To see more scenic photos see Scenic Sunday.

I have no idea what type of flower it is.  I found its shape rather interesting so I had to take a photo. Does anyone know what it is called?

The old New England window is a true classic. The view of the Congregational Church on the green is seen all over this region. The old bottles look nice amongst the panes. Nice regional look!

I've been to Sturbridge often, back in the 80s to attend Brimfield. Awesome town with great pizza!

A very interesting window shot, especially at windowsill level. The plant form is intriguing - any chance you can go back and find out about it, I wonder.

I have never seen a flower like this before. I thought it was made up of a few flowers joined together.
