Odd Shadows - photography by Quiltworks

art by quitworks
This Saturday's shadow shot is cast by an old light fixture. It was taken in a museum which featured furnishing of the late 1800's century. I found the fixtures shape very interesting, and shadow was even more interesting than the real thing.

Spooky & Creepy...

Looks a giant spider. With those hairy legs. Yikes...

But gave you a wonderful shadow though.

Happy SS...

An interesting shadow on the wall. A chandelier can be fussy and ornate with glass beads and such. Here, the cast iron fixture has a massive yet simple shape. It looks great!

Cool shadow. If you hadn't told us, I'd have never guessed it is from a lamp!

Glad we don't have to light our homes with them anymore, I'd be going to bed REALLY early.
