Shadows : New Mexico

Today I am participating in Shadow Shot Sunday, where people share photographic images that feature shadows. My contribution is a photograph from a recent New Mexico trip.  I liked the juxoposition of a new fence and the ancient mountains.  I thought the shadows made the shot much more interesting than it would have been otherwise.

The mesas offer an immense look, with the shadows as impressive. The 'Land of Enchantment' (I have seen a couple of the license plates up here in CT), but the saying is really true! The red rocks and sun combine to make a ruggedly beautiful state!

The view of your shot is awesome. Looks like postcard in my point of view. How I wish I could visit and see it in reality.

Great shot...
